When all fails, reboot the franchise. That seems to be the convention among Hollywood producers nowadays. After a very meh comeback with the 2006 Superman Returns, Warner Bros. decided to breathe new life into the world's most recognisable superhero.

While I'm not much of a Superman fan (not as an adult, at least), I can't really ignore this one since some of the great minds working in Hollywood today is chipping in towards making this project a reality. People like Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer are responsible for coming up with the story, and Zack Snyder was hired to direct this new Superman movie, slated for a December 2012 release.
