I gotta tell you, after War of the Worlds [2005] I really am sick of movies about alien invasions. In fact, I think War of the Worlds pretty much set it off with its mind-numbing conclusion to the story. I thought they were done, but last year saw the release of an even worse alien invasion movie entitled Skyline. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about; it is unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
And now we have Battle: Los Angeles (also known as World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles), one of those movies that gets you wondering why Hollywood hates the world so much since they can't stop thinking of ways to decimate the planet and the human race.
