Green Lantern Movie with Ryan Reynolds

Warner Bros have been looking for the right actor for the role of the Green Lantern, hero from the DC Comic universe. . And they finally decide for Actor Ryan Reynolds. This choice comes a surprise because Ryan Reynolds is already playing the role of Marvel's Deadpool. It's not causing an uproar, as most people think that Ryan Reynolds is fit for the job. but still it's a big surprise for the fans.

This choice also clears things up about the upcoming Green Lantern movie: the story follows the traditional Hal Jordan/Green Lantern story lines to a certain degree including the battle between Legion and Abin Sur, Abin Sur's crash landing on Earth, as well as the choosing of Hal Jordan

The movie Green Lantern is granted was given a $150 million budget by Warner Bros so we may expect a gorgeous movie ahead!

Impatient to hear Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern reciting the oath:

In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!

Green Lantern directed by Greg Berlanti

Warner Bros has chosen Greg Berlanti to co-write and direct the movie Green Lantern.

Here an extract from an interview he gave to The Hollywod reporter:
"To me, this was on the last great comic book movie that hasn't been made," said Berlanti, who grew up reading comics in the 1980s. "It was a comic book with a real mythology that you would see in a lot of the space operas and the sci-fi books. The best part about it, anybody can be become one of the Green Lanterns because anyone can end up with that ring."

Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green also are writing the script, with Donald De Line on board to produce.

Things are on a good track ! Green Lantern, we are waiting for you !
